The car seat.

Maybe most parents don't spend a while researching "the" car seat that will be the perfect fit for their precious bundle. We had to. We knew we wanted one of the better rated car seats, but in the end we knew it was a matter of which one would fit in the back seat of our jeep the best. Ultimately we went with the Chicco Keyfit 30 and so far we are really happy with it.

Size range: The KeyFit 30 fits infants from 4-30 lbs.

Weight: The bucket seat itself weighs right under 10 lbs which is nice, but as soon at little man got over 14 lbs it got pretty heavy.

Jeep test: Very easy to install in the back middle seat. Placing the seat in the base was very easy in the beginning. I'm 5'4 so it's starting to get a little more difficult the heavier he gets. We have been thinking about putting him on one of the side seats so I will update if we choose to move it.

Cleaning: The truth about poop. It happens. It happened one day while I was at the post office and it got everywhere. When I got home I had to take the car seat completely apart and clean it. As long as you have the manual to follow, cleaning is possible. Yuck.

Would I recommend to other Jeeper families? Yes.
